Case Study 3 : 18-hole members golf club in the South West of England.
In 2021 I was taken on to become the clubs marketing resource. The clubs membership had plateaued and there was no active sales or marketing taking place.
Acted as Sales Manager, generating over £150,000 in membership, golf day and function sales in 1 year.

the challenge

There had been very limited marketing or dedicated membership sales efforts, no existing database, no form of data collection and very limited marketing collateral. The club also had a sub-standard website which was ineffective at collecting data and generating leads.
- Designed all membership collateral, brochures, PDFs
- Built a completely new WordPress website to sell and capture data
- Designed and implemented an online application form, online membership contract, data collection forms for membership and golf day enquiries using WordPress and Intelligent Golf to build a database
- Initiated a new membership online sign up system to automate and streamline their process
- Set up a Google Ads and Meta Advertising Accounts to sell membership, green fees, golf days and functions
- Deployed Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track key metrics and website analytics
- Implemented a CRM to track and manage data
- Crafted engaging e-mail marketing campaigns for membership, golf days, green fees and functions using Brevo

- In 3.5 years of membership sales the membership annual subs line increasing by 15%
- Personally sold over £150,000 in memberships, golf days and functions
- Implemented a CRM and built a segmented database of contacts from scratch to currently over 3,000
